Overview
Safety first! We are looking for a Product Safety Engineer (gn) for our client based in Aachen, Germany.
This could be your daily business:
- You play a fundamental role in internal development processes and are the main contact person for CE, UL and product safety standard compliance
- You establish requirements for product certification and conformity of semi-conductor manufacturing plants
- You consult the development department regarding the design of security-related components of the control system
- You conduct functional security and risk assessments
- You will work with the technology team to ensure development tasks are properly documented and on schedule to comply with product regulations
- You coordinate the conformity activities with the required test centres in Germany and abroad
Your Profile:
- Completed degree in engineering or natural sciences or a verifiably comparable qualification
- Knowledge of CE marking
- Experience in dealing with EU directives, US standards and SEMI guidelines
- Experience in conducting risk analyses and test reports
- Knowledge of the calculation of failure probabilities and the design of safe controls according to EN ISO 13849
- Quality and process-oriented thinking and acting
- Good knowledge of German and English in speaking and writing
